Exercise 1.7 – Configuring a static IP address

1. Login to Cockpit
2. Click on Networking.
   
3. Click on Interfaces (eg. ens160, eth0,..)
   
4. Click on IPv4.
5. In the field of addresses select manual.
   
6. Enter the desired IP address, netmask and gateway.
7. Click on apply.
   

Task by Trainer:-

• Change the IP address of the interface(eg. eth0, ensX.) to “192.168.108.192“ (Note: After reboot, the system should be in network.)
• Netmask should be 255.255.255.0
• Getway should be 192.168.108.254
